Nisse Farms Farm Guidelines & Waiver

Welcome to the Farm

We love being able to open Nisse Farms and share the farm with our community. Whether you're joining us for a U-pick, workshop, special event, photo session, or another farm experience, we're glad you're here!

Nisse Farms is first and foremost a working farm, and the property is also a private residence. These guidelines are here to help keep our guests safe, protect our crops and property, and allow us to continue welcoming people to the farm.

By entering Nisse Farms or participating in a farm activity or event, you acknowledge the working-farm environment and agree to follow all posted signs, instructions, and guidelines.

Please Stay in Designated Areas

Guests are asked to remain within the areas designated for the activity or event they are attending.

Unless specifically included as part of an event or you have received permission from Nisse Farms, please do not enter:

  • Greenhouses

  • Farm buildings, sheds, or other structures

  • Residential or private areas

  • Fields or growing areas not open to the public

  • Areas containing farm equipment or machinery

  • Areas beyond fences, gates, ropes, signs, or other boundaries

  • Any area marked private, closed, or staff only

Please remember that this property is also someone's home. We ask that you respect the privacy of those who live here and remain within the areas open for your visit.

Children

Children are always welcome at Nisse Farms, but they must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors in their care and helping ensure that they follow farm rules and remain within designated areas.

Please Respect Our Crops

Our flowers, pumpkins, vegetables, and other plants are working crops.

Please use designated paths and avoid walking or standing in planted rows unless specifically instructed otherwise.

Flowers, produce, pumpkins, plants, or other farm products may not be picked, cut, removed, or damaged unless picking is specifically included in your activity or purchase.

Please do not move signs, decorations, irrigation lines, equipment, displays, or other farm property.

Working Farm Conditions

Nisse Farms is an active agricultural property. Conditions can change from day to day and even throughout your visit.

You may encounter uneven ground, holes, rocks, mud, wet or slippery areas, irrigation lines and hoses, insects, bees, wildlife, plants, farm equipment, tractors, vehicles, tools, fencing, changing weather, and other conditions normally associated with a working farm.

Please use good judgment, watch where you're walking, wear appropriate footwear, and follow any instructions provided by Nisse Farms.

Weather & Farm Conditions

Many of our experiences take place outdoors, and Mother Nature doesn't always cooperate!

Weather, field conditions, flower availability, bloom times, crop conditions, and other aspects of the farm can change throughout the season.

Nisse Farms may modify, postpone, relocate, or cancel an activity when conditions make it necessary or unsafe.

Refund and rescheduling policies may vary by event or activity. Please review the specific policy provided when purchasing your ticket, pass, reservation, or experience.

Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings while visiting Nisse Farms.
