Picture-Perfect Memories

Photo Sessions at Nisse Farms

There is just something special about photos taken on the farm. Whether you're capturing family photos, senior pictures, an engagement, maternity photos, or simply a season of life you don't want to forget, we'd love to have Nisse Farms be part of those memories.

Photoshoots are available July to September

Our Photo Session Pass gives you and your photographer access to our flower fields during designated photography hours.

Please note: A photographer is NOT included with your pass. You are purchasing access to the farm to use as the backdrop for your own photo session.

Photo Session Hours

July–October
Friday–Sunday | 10 AM–Sunset

We do not schedule individual time slots. Your Photo Session Pass is valid for the date you select and may be used anytime during our photography hours that day.

Because we don't block off individual times, other photographers and families may be using the fields at the same time.

We simply ask everyone to be mindful of one another. Keep moving throughout the fields, be patient if someone is using a spot you'd like, and try not to stay in one popular area for too long. We want everyone to have the opportunity to get photos in all the good spots!

Photo Session Pass | $30

One Photo Session Pass covers one family, couple, senior, or individual client and their photographer.

If you're planning a group session with more than 10 people, please contact us before purchasing your pass so we can make sure we can accommodate you.

This Is a Working Farm

One of the things we love about photos at Nisse Farms is that you're getting the real thing!

Our flowers are grown for cutting and production—not as a photography set. Depending on the season, you may encounter irrigation lines, tractors, farm equipment, mud, uneven ground, weeds, and everything else that comes along with a working farm.

Flower varieties, colors, field conditions, and bloom times are all dependent on Mother Nature, so specific flowers or bloom conditions cannot be guaranteed.

That's part of the fun of photographing here. The farm is constantly changing throughout the season, and every visit can look a little different.

Where Can We Take Photos?

Your Photo Session Pass includes access to our designated flower fields only.

We ask that you and your photographer remain within the flower fields and respect all signs, fences, crops, equipment, and areas marked private or closed.

The greenhouses, farm buildings, and surrounding private areas are NOT included in your Photo Session Pass.

Please remember that Nisse Farms isn't only a working farm—this property is also someone's home. We love being able to share this space with you, and we ask everyone to respect the privacy of those who live here by remaining within the designated photography areas.

Your cooperation helps us continue opening the farm for photo sessions year after year.

Can We Pick Flowers?

Absolutely!

If you'd like to include flower picking as part of your visit, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance so we can make arrangements for you.

Please do not cut or pick flowers unless arrangements have been made beforehand.

What About Weather?

We know Mother Nature doesn't always cooperate—especially around here!

If the weather doesn't cooperate on the date you've selected, we're happy to work with you to move your Photo Session Pass to another available photography day.

Photo Session Passes are non-refundable.

A Few Farm-Friendly Reminders

Please be respectful of the flowers and crops while taking photos. Do not step into planted rows, pick flowers without permission, climb on equipment, enter buildings or greenhouses, cross fences, or enter areas marked private.

Children should remain supervised at all times.

And because other photographers and guests may be enjoying the fields too, please be courteous and share those especially good photo spots.

Ready to Make Some Memories?

Pick your day, grab your photographer, and come enjoy a little time among the flowers.

We love seeing families, couples, seniors, and photographers get creative out here, and we can't wait to see the memories you capture at Nisse Farms. 🌻

Please review our full Nisse Farms Farm Guidelines & Waiver before purchasing your pass.

FAQs

Can we pick flowers during the professional photoshoot?

Yes, however, this service is not included in the price of the location rental. If you're interested, simply email us after booking your shoot, and we'll ensure everything is prepared for you. Additionally, we offer a 20% discount on this service for photoshoot clients on the day of the shoot.

Where can we take photos?

You’ll have exclusive access to our beautiful U-pick field for your photoshoot. Please note that the farm is also home to another business, so photos are not permitted in other areas or inside the greenhouses. The location rental is limited to the U-pick field, located to the left of the Farm Market building.

Can we have multiple family’s in the 1 hour that I scheduled?

We operate on a one-client-per-hour basis to ensure a personalized experience. This means we can accommodate one family, one senior, one couple, etc., during each session—not multiple groups or individuals at the same time. However, if you’re planning a session for a large family or multiple families, please contact us in advance to discuss special accommodations and additional fees.

Do you allow pets to be included?

No pets allowed for photoshoots, except licensed service animals, which we will need to be notified about prior to the photoshoot.

Can we just do a photoshoot during u-pick hours?

Absolutely! We welcome paying customers to take photos with their phones or cameras. However, we do not allow full-on professional photoshoots with clients, even if they are paid to pick. We want all of our visitors to enjoy the quiet outdoors of our farm, and it can be a bit disruptive when props, reflectors, or requests to move people out of a shot interfere with the peaceful atmosphere.

If you’re interested in a professional photoshoot at our farm, we recommend scheduling a private session to ensure a more exclusive and uninterrupted experience.
