Petals & Porch Pots: A Spring Planting Workshop

$75.00

Welcome spring the Northland way.

Join us at Nisse Farms for a hands-on planting workshop designed specifically for our cool early-season weather. In this guided experience, you’ll create a beautiful porch pot filled with hardy, cold-tolerant blooms that thrive in crisp spring temperatures.

Friday, April 24th | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

We’ll focus on layering texture, color, and structure using seasonal favorites like pansies, violas, ranunculus, and other early bloomers. To create height and natural movement, each container will feature dogwood branches — adding an elegant woodland element that makes your porch pot truly stand out.

During this workshop, you’ll learn:

  • How to design a balanced container using the “thriller, filler, spiller” method

  • Which flowers perform best in unpredictable spring conditions

  • Tips for protecting and maintaining your planter through chilly nights

Whether you’re refreshing your front steps, creating a welcoming entry, or simply celebrating the return of the growing season, this workshop is the perfect way to get your hands in the soil and kick off spring.

Come plant with us — where time slows and life grows.
